![]() install Windows 10, there is an error saying that BIOS version is too old. After rebooting press F2 to enter BIOS and it will list what BIOS version is installed. Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron N5110, and since Windows 7 is no longer supported. Follow the on screen prompts, the program will run and flash the BIOS. Type the exact name of the BIOS file (mine was N5110A11.exe) and press Enter. Reboot the laptop, press F12 to select USB as the first boot device, and you should end up at a C:\ prompt. I did double check that the BIOS was for my exact model of laptop by typing in the Service Tag on Dell's website and comparing the model number to what was on the website. I used Google Chrome to translate the page to English. I did not put the BIOS into any of the folders on the drive, just right along side them. Then, I downloaded the A11 BIOS and copied it to the USB drive. After reading a few forums i realized that this was problem. The link is below, I followed all the instructions on the page. So I updated my BIOS to the newer A11 version, but even after that the BIOS was not supported. Other software may have worked but I wanted to play it safe. I used Dell's software to create a bootable USB drive.
